Mr. Nipun Neil is a distinguished Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), specializing in additive manufacturing technologies for aerospace applications. With three years of hands-on experience, his expertise significantly contributes to advancing aerospace manufacturing processes. Mr. Neil embarked on his academic journey in mechanical engineering at the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, recognized as one of India’s six Institutes of Eminence. He is an active member of professional bodies such as the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Mr. Neil is deeply passionate about Generative Design, Process Simulations, and Additive Manufacturing, focusing on developing innovative, smart, cost-effective, and personalized products. His commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineers is evident from his role as a nominated speaker for the ‘Core Placement Talk’ organized by the Student Academic Cell at BITS Pilani in January 2021, where he mentored over 100 mechanical engineering students on exploring industrial opportunities.
