Dr. K. Prakash, an accomplished academic and professional, holds an impressive array of qualifications including B.Com, MBA (HRM), M.Phil, Ph.D., PDF (RUSA 2.0), and multiple master’s degrees in Commerce, Tamil, and Corporate Law. His extensive education is complemented by numerous certifications in areas like Saivasiththantham, Yoga, Computer Literacy, and Tally. Dr. Prakash has made significant contributions to academia, serving as Vice Principal and Principal In-Charge, Placement Officer, YRC Coordinator, and EDC Faculty Coordinator. He also guides Ph.D. and PG projects, trains students for TNPSC coaching, and heads the Commerce and Management Department at B. Padmanabhan Jayanthimala College of Arts & Science, and previously at M.R.K. College of Arts & Science. Dr. Prakash’s research credentials are equally impressive, having received prestigious grants such as the ICSSR Research Fellowship and the RUSA 2.0 Post-Doctoral Fellowship. His research interests span a wide range of topics including energy management, agro techniques, artificial intelligence in business, financial management, and digital marketing. He has presented papers internationally, including at a conference in Malaysia, and has been recognized with the Young Faculty Excellence Award from the Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University. Dr. Prakash is also a prolific author with publications in UGC Care Listed Journals, ABDC Journal “C”, and Scopus Indexed Journals, as well as having published a book and a book chapter. In addition to his academic and research pursuits, Dr. Prakash has extensive experience in media and public speaking, with over 22 years in television media and more than 2500 stage programs as a Pattimandra Naduvar. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Academicians and Researchers Association and has collaborated with the National Institute of Technology, Trichy. His diverse expertise and dedication to teaching, research, and administration make him a valuable resource for novel and innovative topics for business students, further establishing his prominence in the field of commerce and business administration.
