Future of IoT | ETB. Samuel Jigme Harrison

ETB. Samuel Jigme Harrison graduated from St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, India with a Bachelor’s degree (BE) in Electronics and Communication in 2008. He then completed his Master in Science (MS) in Integrated Circuit Design, a joint degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Technical University of Munich, Germany in 2010. Samuel also holds an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom. Samuel started his career with Avago Technologies, Singapore in 2010 as an IC Design Engineer. He completed his service with Broadcom Limited, Singapore as a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer in 2016. Samuel was then employed with ST Microelectronics, Singapore from 2017 to October 2022 as the Senior Digital IC Design Engineer. He received a Technical Merit Award in SNUG Penang 2018 organized by Synopsys for the paper “A novel approach in Security Implementation and Clock Tree Synthesis using ICC2″. Samuel holds a German patent for “Systems for remote monitoring and diagnostics of cyber/network security through machine learning”, an Indian patent for an “IoT integrated printer”, a UK patent for an “IoT-based agricultural drone for pesticide spray” and a South African patent for “An IoT based drainage pipes cleaning robot system”. He also published an article titled “Importance of security in IC design” in “Singapore Semiconductor Voice” a magazine by the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association in 2019. He is a Keynote speaker in more than 100 International conferences and FDPs on “VLSI, AI, Robotics, IoT, AR, VR,  and Cybersecurity”. Samuel has 13 years of Industry experience in designing VLSI circuits, specializing in Physical Design Implementation.
