About the Guests:
Dr. Khaled AbdElAlim serves as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Faculty of Political Science, Economics, and Business Administration at May University in Cairo, Egypt. With a strong academic foundation, he earned his Ph.D. in Accounting and Auditing from Ain Shams University, Cairo. Dr. Khaled brings extensive teaching and research experience, having previously held a faculty position at the Canadian International College, the Cairo campus of Cape Breton University, Canada, where he contributed significantly to the academic development of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Dr. Khaled is an accomplished researcher with a prolific publication record in the field of accounting and auditing. His scholarly contributions include more than ten peer-reviewed journal papers and four internationally published book chapters with Emerald Publishing. He is actively involved in the global academic community, having been recognized as an external reviewer for prestigious journals such as the Journal of Accounting and Financial Reporting (Q1 Scopus-indexed) and the Journal of Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior. Additionally, he is a member of the editorial board of the Corporate Ownership and Control journal, reinforcing his leadership in the academic publishing landscape.
Beyond his academic and editorial roles, Dr. Khaled is a prominent voice at international conferences. He has been a guest speaker at eight major global academic forums, sharing his insights on evolving trends in accounting and finance. Most recently, he participated in the 5th International Conference titled “From Reality to Digitalization: How Artificial Intelligence is Reshaping Different Sectors”, hosted by the Future Scientists International Platform in January 2025. His diverse engagements reflect a dynamic career committed to advancing accounting scholarship and fostering innovation across business education and practice.
