Prof. Shravani Mathur is a renowned educationist and researcher, celebrated for her impactful contributions to academia and the field of engineering education. With a career that began in 2005 as a Lecturer at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management (SRMCEM), Lucknow, she has steadily advanced through various prestigious institutions. After serving as Assistant Professor at the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), she went on to become Associate Professor at Oriental College of Technology (OCT) following her Master’s in Power Systems from Rajiv Gandhi Technological University (RGPV), Bhopal. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, further deepening her research acumen.
Prof. Mathur’s professional journey is marked by excellence and engagement in the global academic community. She has served as a peer reviewer for reputed conferences such as CICN and CSNT, and actively contributes to professional bodies like IEEE, ISTE, and IEI. A passionate speaker and thought leader, she has participated in over 40 national and international webinars, conferences, workshops, and leadership summits. Her guest lectures at IITs, NITs, and other reputed institutions across India showcase her commitment to knowledge sharing and capacity building in education.
In recognition of her leadership and vision, Prof. Mathur holds key roles within the IEEE community, including Member, Social Media Committee for IEEE WIE ILC 2025 (San Jose, USA), and speaker at the IEEE Returning Mothers Conference 2023. She has served as Publicity Brand Ambassador for IEEE TENSYMP 2022 and as Secretary & Treasurer of the IEEE PELS and IES chapter (2023–24). Additionally, she is a Core Team Member of the IEEE MP Section (2021–24) and recently led the Publicity Committee for the IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit 2023. With around 20 research publications and a patent on Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, Prof. Shravani Mathur stands as a beacon of innovation, leadership, and academic excellence.
