Mr. Vikash – is an accomplished scholar and educator hailing from the vibrant district of Bhiwani, Haryana. Armed with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture and an MBA in Agribusiness from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Vikash’s academic journey reflects his passion for merging agricultural expertise with business acumen. During his enlightening summer internship with Bayer Crop Science, Vikash delved into the realm of “Basmati Rice Contract Farming Trends, Challenges & Opportunities for Bayer.” This endeavor allowed him to glean insights from both farmers and industry professionals, shedding light on ground-level agricultural practices and industry dynamics. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Agribusiness, Vikash focuses on “Assessment of Post-harvest Losses of Major Fruits in Rajasthan: An Agribusiness Perspective.” Alongside his research pursuits, he also contributes as a Teaching Assistant at IABM, Bikaner, where he imparts his three years of teaching wisdom across diverse subjects like Rural Marketing, Production and Operation Management, Agribusiness Environment, and more. Vikash’s dedication extends beyond the classroom, as he actively participates in academic activities such as student admissions, library management, and organizing engaging events like management games and debates. His accolades include qualifying the UGC NET with JRF in management, securing the best paper award at a Sangam University conference, and being honored as a Young Researcher by InSc. Vikash’s research prowess shines through his impressive portfolio of 17 publications, including 5 research papers in UGC Care listed journals and contributions to NAAS-rated journals. He has also authored an edited book titled “Emerging Trends in Agribusiness and General Management.” In his teaching approach, Vikash prioritizes real-world applications, weaving in live examples, and case studies, and fostering an interactive learning environment that enriches the student experience.
